MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility requirements to join the Southwest Seniors Golf Association (SWSGA) are as follows:
- Must be a male.
- Must be of age 50 or older *
- Must have a current GHIN handicap index of 9.4 or less to join the SWSGA. Handicaps will be monitored and if they exceed a threshold defined by the Board of Directors, participation will no longer be allowed.
- Must be approved by the Board of Directors.
[* exception - if your 50th birthday falls during the calendar year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31) you may join the SWSGA and participate at the age of 49 prior to your 50th birthday. Note: a 49-year-old cannot play as a non-member (guest).]
MEMBERSHIP DUES
Membership dues for 2024 are prorated quarterly and valid until December 31. Members joining in the first quarter (Jan-Mar) will pay $145, the second quarter (Apr-Jun) will pay $115, (Jul-Sept) will pay $85, Oct-Nov will pay $55, and in December 2022 will pay $25 plus the next years membership dues.

New members or guests who complete the approval process will receive a separate link in an email to either participate in our events or join the SWSGA. NON-MEMBER FEES
When we have space available, non-members (Guests) may play in regular season events for an additional $25 per tournament surcharge. The guest surcharge may be applied towards a membership for that year, based on the membership fee in place when you first played as a guest. Note: Similar to a new member, a non-member/guest must have a verifiable handicap index of 9.4 or less and be approved by the Board of Directors.
